Cool! My first post about a band from Brazil! Black Drawing Chalks, hailing from Goiania, is perfect for all of you QOTSA-types, with a fuzzy blend of straight forward Rock n Roll, and have already shared bills with every act to make me drool incessantly. GnR, RATM, Motorhead? These guys have done it.
Now, they’re making there way over to the states, debuting at SXSW 2013! Check ’em out if you’re going, and take 5 minutes out of your day to see what’s happening in other parts of the world! Music is universal.

No Dust Stuck On You has already taken Brazilian media by storm, with Rolling Stone Brazil ranking the single, “The Stalker,” number 23 on its Best Songs Of 2012 list. The group has also received love from MTV Brazil in the past, including multiple nominations for the annual Video Music Awards. They’ve shared stages with such notable hard rock acts as Guns N’ Roses, Motörhead, Rage Against The Machine and Eagles Of Death Metal. Black Drawing Chalks will be making their live U.S. debut at this year’s SXSW, including a showcase at Dirty Dog Bar (505 E 6th St) on March 13.
