Former Dipset honcho and all-around gangsta rapper JUELZ SANTANA will be dropping a new mixtape on DATPIFF on 1/14, his first in a very long time.
Additionally, Juelz will be making a rare stop in Upstate NY on Saturday, 1/14/13, when he hits Upstate Concert Hall (formerly Northern Lights) in Clifton Park, NY. Road trip!!! For any of you aspiring rappers and artists out there, the promoter is STILL taking submissions to open the show, but you’d better get on it immediately if you’d like to be considered.
Tickets are $23 at the door, and don’t be stupid… Security at the venue is super tight.
Interview with Jared Cole from SURRENDER THE FALL (@sftband); Playing Albany 10/14 and Buffalo 10/17
Memphis, Tennessee’s Surrender The Fall is a band for folks who dig rock anthems. Formed to 2005, STF’s is no stranger to the stage, performing all over the southeast before catching a solid break to showcase for Mr. Luis Bacardi (yea, the guy with the rum) and his entertainment arm. Needless to say, it seems to have worked out in their favor!
Interview with Rana Freilich from LEGACY OF DISORDER (@legacy_disorder); Playing Clifton Park, NY on 10/14
The members of New Zealand 4-piece Legacy Of Disorder have traveled thousands of miles for metal. Talk about dedication to your craft, if you didn’t know, NZ is basically on the other side of the planet… Like a 20-hour flight. Insane right? Well, check out their tunes and see just how crazy they really are!
