TREVOR MOORE’S “DRUNK TEXTS TO MYSELF” drops 3/26 on COMEDY CENTRAL RECORDS

Though probably not as funny as the Facebook lashing I received this morning, in response to a comedic counter-suggestion to a blog post stating that lazily dressed men are a “spreading epidemic” across the country (WOW!), TREVOR MOORE is dropping his album, Drunk Texts To Myself, on March 26th via Comedy Central Records (how appropriate.)

Please… Don’t catch “Clothes Aids.” Protect yourself by shopping, girl in tow, at your favorite pseudo-upscale mall/online retailers and wrap your ass in lame threads BEFORE IT’S TOO LATE!!!

Here’s the press release for the album:

NEW YORK (March 6, 2013) – Trevor Moore’s CD and digital album, Drunk Texts to Myself, will be released via Comedy Central Records on Tuesday, March 26th. Drunk Texts To Myself serves as the debut album from Moore (a founding member of sketch troupe The Whitest Kids U’ Know).

Drunk Texts To Myself finds Moore using his signature comedic styling to explain the perils of child pop stardom and uncover the pope’s money-making potential. Utilizing genres from rap to metal and country to dub-step, Moore further proves that the founding fathers were on drugs and that Tom Hanks is far from being the nicest guy in Hollywood. The deluxe digital version of Drunk Texts To Myself includes music videos for “The Pope Rap (Modern Day Profit)” and “Founding Fathers Rap,” while the album’s title track features an appearance from comedian Reggie Watts.

Moore is currently touring the U.S. with The Whitest Kids U’ Know, whose self-titled show ran for five seasons on IFC and has reached over 100 million views on YouTube. In addition to his work in sketch comedy, Moore is a regular correspondent on NBC’s The Tonight Show and appeared with Christian Slater in the FOX series Breaking In. Moore also co-directed, co-wrote and co-starred in the Fox Searchlight film Miss March.
