NYC’s Trio To Join Germany’s Panzerballett For Several Tour Dates In March
NEW YORK, NEW YORK — March 6th, 2013 — Sci-Fi Middle Eastern fusion trio Consider The Source has announced the second part of their 2013 tour dates and will join German jazz fusion extraordinaires Panzerballett for select shows in the Northeast later this month.
After a successful German tour last summer with Panzerballett, NYC-based Consider The Source is excited to reunite with the jazz metal quintet and kick off the run in their hometown. These exclusive tour dates include Piano’s in NYC on 3/27, Tammany Hall in Worchester (MA) on 3/28, Neitzsche’s in Buffalo (NY) on 3/29, Valentine’s in Albany (NY) on 3/30, Chance Theatre in Poughkeepsie (NY) on 3/31, and Roxy & Duke’s in Dunnelen (NJ) on 4/1. With deep roots in improvisational jazz and progressive rock, Consider The Source provides an instrumental experience that can be best described as an “Indo-Eastern aural awakening”. Their psychedelic fusion of American jazz, funk, and heavy metal with Middle Eastern classical and folk music translates into an eclectic musical intensity that has become so characteristic of their live performances. Vibrant rhythmic forces and complex melodic ornamentation blur the lines between chaos and serenity, showcasing the band’s exceptional talent and otherworldly energy.
