Brotherly Love Productions is at it AGAIN! This time, it’s PURPLE HATTERS BALL, taking place from May 10-12th in Live Oak, Florida. You may remember the location from the epic rage-a-thon that was AURA Music and Arts Festival a few weeks back. Rest assured, this one will be just as off the chain!

Lettuce, The New Mastersounds, Quantic, The Malah, Dubconscious, and many more are slated to perform. Tickets are on sale right HERE and they are about as inexpensive as it gets for such a crazy lineup!

Jeff Hershey has worn many hats during his musical tenure. Some of you may know him from his metal days in Black Opal or Hybrid Moments. Others may recognize him as a core member of the wildly popular Vagrant Record’s act, No Motiv. My introduction to him was when he ran and danced his way through a busy bar/restaurant venue with a giant microphone attached to 80ft. of cabling. My first Jeff Hershey and the Heartbeats show is one i’ll take that to the grave, you can bet.

Interview with Matt Byrne from HATEBREED; New album The Divinity of Purpose out NOW! @razorandtie @hatebreed

My introduction to Hatebreed was pretty nuts. Playing smack dab in the middle of the Slugfest reunion show that took place in Buffalo some 17 years ago, all I knew of the band was they had a cool logo, a crazy sounding name, and were from Connecticut. Then, they took the stage and proceeded to sonically kick the shit out of everything in sight… It was one of the most intense performances I had ever seen, and I immediately booked it to the merch booth to cop their first 7”, Under The Knife. A short time after, the group released their debut full-length, Satisfaction Is The Death Of Desire, and that was the beginning of a new era in hardcore music.
