Consider The Source is at it again! After a successful journey to Germany and Israel, CTS is back in the USA and it’s time to get ready for their Winter Tour, beginning on Halloween Night! FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASENEW YORK, NEW YORK — October 29th, 2012 — Sci-Fi Middle Eastern fusion trio Consider The Source has just announced the dates for their “Winter Is Coming” Tour. The announcement follows an extraordinary trip overseas boasting performances in Germany and Israel. The tour features 29 shows in cities all over the Northeast, Southeast, and Midwest.
The ‘Winter Is Coming’ Tour kicks off on October 31st at Metronome in Burlington, VT. The tour includes two nights with Toubab Krewe on November 9th-10th, as well as a two-night run in Ohio with Papadosio on November 23rd-24th. December sees the trio performing at the Georgia Theatre with Dumpstaphunk and closing out 2012 with a very special New Years Eve show in Albany, NY with Timbre Coup. With deep roots in improvisational jazz and progressive rock, Consider The Source provides an instrumental experience that can be best described as an “Indo-Eastern aural awakening”. Their psychedelic fusion of American jazz, funk, and heavy metal with Middle Eastern classical and folk music translates into an eclectic musical intensity that has become so characteristic of their live performances. Vibrant rhythmic forces and complex melodic ornamentation blur the lines between chaos and serenity, showcasing the band’s exceptional talent and otherworldly energy.
