To The Wind has announced they will be embarking on a nationwide tour with Comeback Kid. Other supporting bands include Backtrack, Xibalba and Downpresser. To The Wind also recently released their debut record on Pure Noise Records, Empty Eyes, which is available in stores and online. A full list of tour dates can be seen below.
To The Wind formed in 2008 when Brothers Ryan and Tanner Murphy, along with cousin, Cory Lamb, joined their friends Matt Farage and Anthony Laur, in an effort to start creating music that they loved. The band previously self-released a couple of EPs, followed by their Pure Noise Records debut EP, No More Than This. Soon after, To The Wind released their debut full length, Empty Eyes.
Empty Eyes has already garnered positive feedback. Alternative Press praises the release, claiming it contains, “blazer after blazer of full-steam ahead, melody-laced hardcore.” The record was produced and engineered by Sam Pure (The Story So Far, The American Scene).
To The Wind has been on the road consistently this year, introducing fans and first-time listeners to their brand new songs. For more information on To The Wind, please visit www.facebook.com/tothewindnw.
