NEW YORK, NEW YORK — January 31st, 2014 — Sci-Fi Middle Eastern fusion trio Consider The Source has announced dates for their Spring 2014 Tour. Between March and May, the band will hit venues across the Midwest and throughout the South before heading back to the Northeast. A full tour itinerary follows this release.

The announcement comes twelve days before their campaign to fund a double album is set to wrap up. Having met over half of their campaign goal of $20,000, the band is asking for the support of fans to be able to record and share their new material. The double album would feature experimental new sounds and techniques, the use of new instruments like the Banjo Bass and Dutar, brand new acoustic songs, and new musical influences from areas such as North Africa, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and more.

“The goal of this album is to spread our message of unity through music to a much broader audience. We have the music, we have the vision, we have the gusto, but we lack the funds. Any contribution you make, large or small, will help chip away at the massive expense of putting out an album. Without your support, this album would not be possible.”
